Spring 2010 Broadhead

Dear Brothers,
    

WOW! What a time to be active for Jesus! All around us lines all falling and others being drawn. I am reflecting on something the Lord had me write down years ago about us  (adults) sending kids where we do not go, and we are not teaching them how. Understand this was written many years ago, but it still is something faced by us. Are we teaching (modeling) a Christian walk that reaches out to the unreachable, that makes people of all financial and ethnic abilities want to know about this Jesus? Can we actually teach this through our lives to the next generation? I believe we can and we shall. Remember to fast and pray  for your Leaders in all facets, Your boys, and yourself (make time for your walk with the Christ who called you by name). We do not want to be a church like Laddiocia that was doing the right things but had left God at the door.

    I am looking forward to a great year  in which we have a opportunity to see others saved. We have some neat-o things coming up and when you aren't there you are missed so plan on being with us.
Upcoming events:

February 4-6,    Regional Conference in Lancaster , PA

February 20,    Winter field Daze (Yukon Day),  one in Maine one in NH, this is a ONE DAY EVENT this year due to facility issues. More info to follow.

February 25-29,    WNTC, Winter National Training Camp, CANCELLED

April 9-10,        District Wide Commanders Conference (DWCC) A great time to find out whats new and whats going on in the District and Nationally.

April 24,        Pine Wood Derby

May 8,        Pow Wow work day

May 14-15        Men's Retreat,

May 28th        Security Camp, for boys wishing to learn more about proper ways to hoist the flags and preform security details, earn a camp toward their Saber.

June 4-5        Shooter Sport Weekend    

June 25-26        SNED Pow Wow, but for those interested, Justin “ Twenty Pieces” Paton will be receiving his Saber for attendance at at least five camps. Please contact myself or Moose Call if you plan on attending. It would be nice for a show of support for this event.

July 10        Ranger Kids day  MAINE

July 16-17        Frontier Adventure, Please be “READY” and apply soon for teaching positions, this includes Young Bucks.

July 30th        Ranger Kids Day NH

August 20-21     Pow Wow    Practice up your skills as we are planning on having the Brothers in the village  along with points given for attendance. I am hoping to have some skill oriented offers in which some of the boys can learn something and help with something that maybe they can take home something as well.  (Candle making, Bolo ties, etc> ) Talk to me for other options or ideas.

September 11-13    High Adventure  = This is an open invitation for all commanders an boys who are looking to join FCF. Experience the delights and fun found in the brotherhood.

October 8-10(11)    Trace    Our competition and fellowship time. This is a great time to work on gear and skills along with blessing each other with God's reflection in us. Friday night at 8:00 we will have our chapter membership meeting. THIS includes a canoe trip> Please  plan on joining us for this years event.

 As final, please make very effort to pray for your Brothers as I  know this year is hard and in some ways may get more so. BUT, God is in control and in praying and fasting we gain the victory. Thank you as always for allowing me to serve.
