Spring 2010 Broadhead

Dear Brothers,

WOW! What a time to be active for Jesus! All around us lines all falling and others being drawn. I am reflecting on something the Lord had me write down years ago about us  (adults) sending kids where we do not go, and we are not teaching them how. Understand this was written many years ago, but it still is something faced by us. Are we teaching (modeling) a Christian walk that reaches out to the unreachable, that makes people of all financial and ethnic abilities want to know about this Jesus? Can we actually teach this through our lives to the next generation? I believe we can and we shall. Remember to fast and pray  for your Leaders in all facets, Your boys, and yourself (make time for your walk with the Christ who called you by name). We do not want to be a church like Laddiocia that was doing the right things but had left God at the door.

Fall Broadhead

My Dearest Brothers,

I sit and reflect over the past year and I am not convinced it could not have been better. I have been much consumed in other places or times and therefore ask your forgiveness. Many of you have picked up much of the slack that I have left and I sincerely appreciate all you have done for the cause of Christ this year. I know this coming year can and will be our best year yet, as long as we look to give ourselves and the glory due to Christ.

How can we not? For he is what we and our group is about. To give and Serve.. What a model for us to follow.

I thought in this issue I would bring everyone up to date on all the changes that have occurred in the past few years regarding our constitution and bylaws and will endeavor to set them in place so that you may find them when it comes your turn to serve in some capacity. So in this issue I will try to put everything in and if I miss anything please let me know.

Also it has been suggested that we have another family rendezvous and if you would like to do so please let me know soon so that we can put a plan in place.
